It was an amazing night at the 2017 Video Music Awards! Held August 27, 2017 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, all of music’s biggest stars gathered to celebrate the best and brightest performances and music videos of the past year. Host Katy Perry brought the laughs all night with hilarious jokes — you catch that one about Harry Styles’ third nipple?? — and even took the stage herself for a basketball-themed performance of “Swish Swish”.
Miley Cyrus threw it back to the 1950s by dressing up as a Pink Lady from Grease for her performance of “Younger Now”. And she even brought some guests along to join in on the fun. But the biggest moment of the night may have belonged to Lorde… who couldn’t actually sing because of the Flu.
