Lady Gaga spiced up her bleach blonde locks this summer with mermaid-inspired blue highlights on August 14. The Grammy-winning singer explained the heartfelt meaning behind her new do’ under a selfie on Instagram. “Hello Merpeople. Rocking color by @fredericaspiras [Frederic Aspiras] named after his mother who just passed,” Gaga explained, revealing the color’s name: “Suzie’s Ocean Blonde.” The singer added that her hair makeover “was extra special glamour with love.” Frederic is Gaga’s personal hairstylist and he also specializes in wigs, which the singer loves. Frederic is responsible for Gaga’s many looks in her “Rain On Me” music video, as well as her iconic 2019 Met Gala look — among many others.

Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams bid adieu to his natural brunette hair and went for something totally electric. He debuted his blue ‘do on July 28 and fans couldn’t believe how well he could pull it off! The actor simply captioned the look with the word “waves,” and got a ton of love in the comment section of his post.
