At only 28-years-old, Andre Drummond has already had an incredibly accomplished NBA career! Born in Mount Vernon, New York, Andre kicked off his career by playing at UConn in 2011, before he was quickly drafted to the Detroit Pistons for the 2012 season. During his time on the Pistons, Andre had amazing career achievements, being selected for the NBA All-Star game in both 2016 and 2018.
After eight years with the Pistons, Andre was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he played until March 2021, when he was bought out. He then signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, who went to the playoffs in the 2021 season. In August 2021, The Philadelphia 76ers tweeted out an announcement that the team had signed Andre as a center. Besides the NBA, Andre also played as part of the 2014 U.S. Team in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
