Initially, it really looked like their breakup would go down in history as the quickest (and easiest!) divorce Hollywood has ever seen. Mere hours after announcing their separation on July 20, the once-in-love pair disclosed that a judge had already signed off on official documents, marking the official, and legal, end of their relationship.
“Miranda didn’t want to play dirty,” the mag’s insider adds. “But now that Blake has fired the first shot, she isn’t going to let her name get dragged through the mud. She’s one of the sweetest people on the planet. Their friends know that, so even some of Blake’s pals are siding with her.”

And while bitter feelings still loom for Miranda, she can’t help but mourn the loss of what she thought would be forever with Blake.
