British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds got engaged in 2019, but did not announce the news until Feb. 2020, when Boris reached a financial settlement with his ex-wife, Marina Wheeler. At the time, Boris and Carrie also revealed that she was pregnant with their first child together (their son was born on April 29, 2020). Boris and Carrie reportedly began their relationship in 2018, but did not confirm the news that they were together until they made their first public appearance together in June 2019. She moved in with him at 10 Downing Street after he became Prime Minister in July 2019. Boris and Carrie were rumored to have started seeing each other while he was still married to Marina, but when Boris and Marina announced their split in Sept. 2018, they said they had been separate for quite some time already.
