The clip shows Kim and Kourtney Kardashian visiting Kylie’s brand new home. As they’re chatting, Kourtney glances at her phone and sees that it’s blowing up about Khloe’s Complex cover. “Everyone today at the gym today was freaking out about Khloe’s Complex,” Kourtney tells her sisters. “I know, it brought her stock up like 50 percent,” Kim responds. “Do you know that I told her that you got offered the cover? And I told her, ‘Kylie’s going to get the Complex cover. This is your one time. Do you want your 17-year-old sister to outshine you? Step it up right now, or Kylie’s doing the cover.’ So I used you to coax her into doing it,” Kim tells Kylie.
It’s a little more than a white lie, but Kim really had Khloe’s best interests at heart when she told that story to Khloe. And just look what happened! Everyone and their mother gushed about how amazing Khloe looked in the spread, which featured her in a few skimpy bodysuits, glistening wet and posing with sports equipment.
Apparently, that wasn’t Kim’s only intervention when it came to Khloe’s cover. Kim served as the creative director for the shoot, making sure her sister looked her absolute hottest. And despite Kim’s lie (which we still don’t know if Khloe knows about!) Khloe had only love and gratitude for her sister’s prodding. “I have been procrastinating it because I was too scared to do the shoot! But Kimberly made me and had more confidence in me then I had myself!! I love you Keeks!,” she wrote.
