Criss Angel (born Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos on December 19, 1967 in Hempstead, New York) is an American magician and illusionist. Growing up, Criss had a fascination with magic and looked up to Harry Houdini. Rather than traditional magic tricks, Criss gravitated toward illusion; he’ll show a quarter passing through his skin, spontaneous combustion, or feats of amazing strength. After becoming infamous for his tricks, Criss nabbed the A&E TV series Criss Angel Mindfreak in 2005. Each episode showed him doing something incredible, like walking on water and getting run over by a steamroller. He became legendary with the series, and went on to have his own Las Vegas stage show Criss Angel BeLIEve. That then turned into a Spike TV show in 2013.

Personal Life:
Criss married JoAnn Sarantakos in 2002, and they divorced in 2006. He was linked to Holly Madison from 2008-2009. Criss met Sandra Gonzalez in 2011, and got engaged. Together, they had son Johnny Crisstopher Sarantakos, who sadly suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Criss is currently single.
