The 2019 Emmy Awards Red Carpet
The 2019 Emmy Awards took place on Sept. 22, 2019. The annual event is meant to honor excellence in the television industry, with actors, actresses, series, limited series’ and more being recognized. For just the fourth time in Emmys history, there was not a host at the 2019 award show. However, the event had a super star-studded line-up. Following the last seasons of ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Veep,’ the casts of both shows attended the Emmys to celebrate their success over the years. Other attendees included Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Zendaya, and dozens of others. ‘Game of Thrones’ had the most nominations at the show with 14 in total — nine for acting and three for directing. Close behind, ‘When They See Us’ scored 11 nominations, while ‘Barry’ had nine. Before all the fun AT the show started, though, the stars all walked the red carpet and posed for photos.
