Harry had the best of intentions when donning his suit, a cream jacket and slacks printed with a black sketched floral pattern. It’s high end too, straight from Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2016 menswear collection. Ritzy! Unfortunately, the public wasn’t really besotted with his fashion choice, because to many, it looked like a floral couch. It really did bear an uncanny resemblance to a particular IKEA comforter, too! All the memes are below:

Be kind to Harry, guys! He just really likes vintage fashion, if it wasn’t apparent from his previous fashion choices. Perhaps he caught wind of the Twitter chatter, because he changed out of the suit and donned an all-black outfit for 1D’s performance of “Perfect.” Of course, he paired it with a yellow rosette ascot. Of course, there’s one comparison that Harry would never be able to escape with an outfit like that: a heavily pregnant Kim Kardashian when she attended the Met Gala in 2013. You know the dress; it was a tight, long-sleeved floral terror that looked like, yes, an old couch! That spawned millions of memes too. Maybe they can bond over this?
