‘Game of Thrones’ has had no shortage of deaths over the past 8 seasons. The show has killed off so many main characters in shocking and devastating death scenes. Some of the deaths no one saw coming. ‘Game of Thrones’ showed it wasn’t afraid to kill off characters in jaw-dropping ways in season 1 with Ned Stark’s beheading. The Starks haven’t had it easy, with Robb Stark and Catelyn Stark being brutally murdered at the Red Wedding in season 3. Other shocking deaths include Tyrion Lannister, killing both his father, Tywin, and his lover, Shae, in season 4. While everyone wanted it to happen, watching Joffrey die at the Purple Wedding in season 4 was downright shocking. The show is now in season 8 with only a few episodes left.
