Golden Globe Awards 2020
The 2020 Golden Globe Awards were full of hilarious and groundbreaking moments to be remembered. With Ricky Gervais returning as host for the fifth time, there were plenty of jokes cracked onstage, and the audience was left cracking up as he spoke throughout the show. Tom Hanks received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his achievements in the movie industry, while Ellen DeGeneres took home the second-ever Carol Burnett Award for her outstanding television career. Dozens of awards were given out throughout the night, and so many stars got emotional and empowering in their speeches as they took the stage to accept their trophies.
