“Harry and Megan first met on the plane when she was hired as one of One Direction’s private air hostesses,” a friend told the U.K.’s Sun.“They really bonded on the plane and things turned romantic quickly. They went on a number of dates and hit it off,” their source revealed. Megan was with Harry throughout the band’s tour between June and Oct. 2015.
“But unlike many of Harry’s flings, this actually got really serious. He supported Megan through some tough times in her life and started referring to her as his girlfriend,” the friend continued. “Megan never asked him about other women because she accepted he was a rock star, but she was madly in love and believed Harry felt the same.”
Only Harry totally didn’t. He bolted on their relationship when he told Megan that he was spending the holidays with his friends and family, when instead he took Kendall to the Caribbean for a PDA packed New Year’s holiday, which left Megan devastated. According to the pal, Megan claims Harry really had work hard to get her to be his girl. “‘I fought with him and he really had to convince me otherwise, and I don’t think he’s come across a girl who has been so hesitant to date him.” The pal even claims that Harry became her shoulder to cry on when her mom had a stroke, and for Megan that was, “part of the reason I fell in love with him.” Whoops, looks like the feeling wasn’t mutual with Harry!
