Honey Boo Boo at the ‘Bridezillas’ TV show premiere
Honey Boo Boo, whose real name is Alana Thompson is an American reality television star who rose to fame in on the TLC reality television series, ‘Toddlers & Tiaras’. Honey Boo Boo became so popular that TLC gave her her own reality television series, ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’, which premiered in August 2012. The show follows Alana and her family in the town of McIntyre, Georgia. Aside from Alana, the show also starred her mother June “Mama June” Shannon, father Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, and her three sisters: Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, and Anna “Chickadee” Shannon (now Anna Cardwell). TLC cancelled the series after four seasons in October 2014, following allegations stating that Alana’s mother, June started dating a man who was a registered sex offender. June denied the rumor. In 2017 June launched her own reality series on We TV called ‘Mama June: From Not to Hot’, which also starred Alana, June’s now ex-husband Sugar Bear, and Lauryn.

Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, was joined by her older boyfriend Dralin Carswell, 20, and the pair were seen playing on the sand. Also present was Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird who brought her newborn twins Sylus and Stella to the shoreline along with her other children Ella, four, and Bentley, 11 months.
