‘I Am The Night’
‘I Am The Night’ tells the gripping story of Fauna Hodel, played by the talented India Eisley, a teenager who is given away at birth. She lives a normal life until she makes a discovery that causes her to question everything. She begins to investigate the secrets of her past and she ends up meeting a troubled reporter, played by Chris Pine, who is haunted by a past case. Together, they follow a sinister trail that has them crossing paths with infamous Los Angeles gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel, played by Jefferson Mays. Dr. Hodel may have been involved in the most infamous unsolved crime — the Black Dahlia murder. The 6-episode limited series was written by Sam Sheridan and inspired by Fauna’s own memoir. ‘Wonder Woman’ director Patty Jenkins served as an executive producer on the series and directed two episodes.
