Jennette McCurdy: Dissing ‘Sam & Cat’ Co-Star Ariana Grande?
In the new episode of What’s Next For Sarah?, Jennette’s character is in therapy after her show was canceled and her relationship ended. Sounds familiar right?
The therapist recommends lots of therapy for the star and even says her case is “pretty hopeless.” The therapist suggest Sarah try juicing and she heads there after.
While she’s drinking her juice, a girl with huge hair and pretty floral dress comes into the store singing. Even more familiar, right?
Sarah’s friend, named “Gloriana,” stops to talk to Sarah about her life. (Sidenote: Doesn’t Gloriana sound a lot like Ariana?) Gloriana goes on and on about she’s doing “so well” and she’s “never been better.” She segues into music video ideas, which totally sounds like Jennette is dissing Ariana about her music career!
Jennette and Ariana’s show experienced some major drama after racy photos leaked of Jennette earlier this year. HollywoodLife.com also learned exclusively from a source close to the show that Jenette wanted to be treated the “same respect” as Ariana and wanted more money.
Aside from Sam & Cat, Ariana’s music career is literally on fire. She has dropped multiple hit songs and is at the top of the music charts, which could be a cause for jealousy on Jennette’s end.
Maybe Jennette’s just poking fun at the entire Sam & Cat cancellation situation. Check out the video below and decide whether or not Jennette’s diss towards Ariana has a mean motive or it’s just all in good fun.
