“As crazy as it is that Kanye still feels that running for President, it is still something in the cards and he is now at a cross roads with it all,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Apparently Yeezy has come to the realization that the level of protection that comes with the office could have prevented Kim’s violent jewelry robbery in Paris. “He has talked about how the robbery would never happen with Secret Service, but at the same time being President adds a whole different security threat where assassination is a constant threat and always on the table.” Yeah, that’s one of the big risks that comes with the position. At least he’s keeping that in mind!

Kanye, 39, pretty much shocked the world when he announced at the 2015 VMAs that he planned to run for president in 2020. Everyone thought he was totally kidding until he started backing it up in interviews that it was something the self-proclaimed mega genius was really considering. Since then, Donald Trump, 69, has proven that someone with zero political experience or governmental knowledge actually can mount a successful campaign for president, so maybe a President Kanye West isn’t totally a far-fetched idea. He’d definitely win the millennial vote that seems to not want to turn out for the 2016 presidential election.
