“Rachel has basically gone into seclusion,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She feels like she’s being bullied and attacked and is leaning on Kim for support. Kim has alway been there for Rachel and is encouraging her not to go on the Internet or read anything about Beyonce right now. She’s way too fragile.”
The drama began when Bey released Lemonade on April 24, and several lyrics on the record call out a man for cheating, immediately leading to speculation that Jay had been unfaithful. In one particular song she tells her man to call up “Becky with the good hair,” and when Rachel posted an Instagram bragging about her ‘good hair,’ fans immediately went crazy, alleging that she was the rapper’s mistress.
The fashion designer deleted the photo, then defended herself on Twitter. “I respect love, marriages, families and strength,” she wrote. “What shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind.:
As we previously reported, Rachel is furious that Bey would bring all this up again, especially since a relationship between her and Jay has been rumored in the past. However, the pressure has clearly gotten to her, because she canceled a scheduled appearance on April 25 due to a “personal emergency.”
As for Beyonce and Jay Z, the visual version of Lemonade shows them with a happy ending — yup, after all that, Bey is staying with him. Let’s hope he’s learned his lesson about cheating after all this…
