Lashana Lynch is an British actress best known for her roles in Captain Marvel and No Time to Die. She made her professional acting debut with the film Fast Girls in 2012, and went on to star in the BBC comedy series Crims in 2016. The next year, she scored the lead role in the Shonda Rimes-produced series Still Star-Crossed, a take on Romeo and Juliet. She played Maria Rambeau, Carol Danvers’ (Brie Larson) best friend in the 2019 film Captain Marvel. She’s next playing an MI6 agent named Nomi in the James Bond film No Time to Die, becoming the first Black and female 007 in the franchise’s history.
