Former ‘The Bachelor’ lead Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his fiancée Lauren Burnham arrived at ‘Good Morning America’ in New York City in this photo. The couple met on season 22 of the show, in which he originally picked Becca Kufrin as the winner. Lauren was the runner-up on the show, originally. After the season finished, but before it aired, Arie broke up with Becca onscreen in a devastating scene. The show aired the breakup during the last episode of the season, and showed Arie and Lauren reuniting after he broke up with Becca. Arie then proposed live to Lauren on ‘The Bachelor: After the Final Rose,’ and she said yes to his proposal in front of the studio audience and millions at home. .
The couple announced in Jan. 2019 that they were pregnant, and got married in Hawaii that same month. Lauren gave birth to their first child in May 2019.
