Mike Pence, born Michael Richard Pence on June 7, 1959, is an American politician who served at the Vice President of the United States under Donald Trump. Prior to that, he was the governor of Indiana as well as a US Congressman, serving in the House of Representatives from 2001 to 2013. As a politician, Mike Pence is considered a staunch social conservative.
Mike Pence is also married to Karen Pence. He famously refers to her a ‘Mother.’ They have three children together.
The politician became a target of conservatives after certifying the results of the 2020 elections. Participants in the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection even screamed violent threats like ‘Hang Mike Pence’ at the VP during the attack. In testimony from the Jan. 6, commission it was revealed he and his family feared for their safety during this time.
