The 2020 ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’ special took place on Dec. 2, 2020 and aired on NBC. It was hosted by Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin and Al Roker from the ‘Today’ Show. As always, the event marked the lighting of the iconic Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. This year, there was no live audience allowed due to coronavirus regulations, but there were still plenty of stars in attendance to bring the entertainment to viewers. Plus, some artists even showed up remotely to sing their holiday hits, including original songs and well-known Christmas classics.
Some of the performers for the 2020 special included Meghan Trainor, Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Brett Eldredge, Pentatonix, Tori Kelly, Dan + Shay, Goo Goo Dolls, the Radio City Rockettes and more.
