Logan Paul is one of the most prominent personalities on YouTube, with over 19 million subscribers as of May 2019.
Like most famous YouTubers, Logan got his start on Vine. He switched to Facebook and YouTube after the platform shut down, and he has been steadily pumping out comedy sketches and vlogs since his rise to social media stardom. His impressive following on social media led to commercial success, as Logan was featured in advertising campaigns for big brands like PepsiCo and HBO, and even landed guest roles on television shows like ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.’ He even scored a leading role in the YouTube movie ‘The Thinning’ alongside Disney star Peyton List, and also appeared in the film ‘The Space Between Us.’ Logan has dabbled in amateur boxing by going against British YouTuber Olajide Olatunji in the ring in Aug. 2018.
On Dec. 31, 2017, Logan faced major backlash when he uploaded a video featuring an alleged suicide victim in Aokigahara forest. Logan took down the shocking footage, released an apology video and made another video about Suicide Prevention Week. YouTube still temporarily suspended advertising on his videos in Feb. 2018, due to a mix of other controversies. Logan is now back to regularly releasing videos.
