At the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, Drake adorably described his and bad gal RiRi’s very first encounter with each other ever, which, of course, was while shooting the music video for “Pon De Replay.” This music video was directed by Director X… and if you are a real fan, you would know that that was certainly not the last time the two artists worked with the director.
That’s right, their iconic “Work” music video, released on February 22, 2016, was also directed by the Toronto, Canada native.
And proving to have even more chemistry in the studio, they have naturally collaborated on plenty more projects like “What’s My Name?” “Take Care,” “Too Good,” and “Lemon (remix).”
