Robert Durst was a real estate heir from New York who was convicted of murdering his friend, Susan Berman. In Sept. 2021, Robert was found guilty of first-degree murder of Susan’s execution-style murder back in 2000. He was sentenced to life in prison, without parole, in Oct. 2021. Then, Robert was finally charged with second-degree murder in connection to his first wife Kathleen Durst’s 1982 disappearance. Kathleen was presumed killed by Robert. But that trial began, Robert died after going into cardiac arrest on January 10, 2022.
