Roger Waters is a rock icon. He’s been one of the most influential musicians of the 20th Century. In 1965, he started the band Pink Floyd with Nick Mason and Richard Wright. Roger was the bassist for 20 years. After original vocalist Syd Barrett left the band in 1968, Roger became the main songwriter for the band and penned many of their best-known songs, including the lyrics to band’s classic albums ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ and ‘The Wall.’ He also took lead vocals for a number of the band’s songs, including ‘Dark Side’ closing songs ‘Brain Damage’ and ‘Eclipse,’ and he sung most of the songs ‘The Wall.’
Roger left Pink Floyd in 1985, and began a solo career where he’s released four albums of his own. While he hasn’t been a member of Pink Floyd for decades, he has still performed many of the band’s songs live, including a massive three year tour from 2010 to 2013, where he played ‘The Wall.’
