The Cast of ‘Roseanne’
Premiering in 1988, ‘Roseanne’ was a sitcom that captured the lives of a working-class family in America, led by Roseanne Barr. The eponymous series had its original run from 1988-1996 and was revived in 2018. Following a scandal that involved Roseanne Barr, the series was rebranded as ‘The Conners’ and followed the lives of Roseanne’s family in her stead. Along with Roseanne Barr, the original cast, and the revival, star John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Alicia Goranson, Jonny Galecki, Natalie West, and Oscar-nominated actress Laurie Metcalf. The show became a springboard for a number of its stars, leading them to high-profile work in Hollywood. During its original run, the show won a slew of Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Awards among its many nominations. Though the revival’s popularity has waned, fans of the original will always cherish its familiar, personal storylines and characters.
