The Royal Family In Sandringham On Christmas Day 2019
Britain’s Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge stand with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, for their Christmas Day debut, outside the St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham in Norfolk, England. The Royal Family have a tradition of spending Christmas and New Year at the Queen’s country estate in Norfolk. During the sixties, when Her Majesty’s children were small, many Christmases were celebrated at Windsor Castle, where The Royal Family now spends Easter. But since 1988, when the castle was being renovated, Royal Christmases returned to Sandringham where they have remained. While the whole family typicaly joins in, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the decision to join Meghan’s mother for the holidays after spending two in the UK.
