Ryan Lochte
Ryan Lochte is the alpha of the alpha dogs in competitive swimming. With 12 medals (six golds, three silvers and three bronzes), Ryan takes the No. 2 spot in the Olympics’ most decorated male swimmers — that’s just one spot behind the legendary Michael Phelps. He also boasts multiple world records: the 200-meter individual medley for long course and short course, the 400-meter individual medley for short course, and the 4×200-meter free relay with his American team (Ricky Berens, Dave Walters, and Michael Phelps).
In July 2018, the United States Anti-Doping Agency suspended Ryan from competing for 14 months after he posted a photo of himself receiving an intravenous infusion. Ryan was not accused of injecting himself with an illegal substance, but the agency claimed that he “received an intravenous infusion of permitted substances at an infusion clinic in a volume greater than 100 mL in a 12-hour period without a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).” However, Ryan is set to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics!
Ryan married former Playboy model Kayla Rae Reid in Jan. 2018, and they have welcomed two children: son Caiden Zane Lochte and daughter Liv Rae Lochte.
