Scarlett, 31, has been extremely active with organizations like Planned Parenthood as well as other women’s health-driven causes for the past several years, something that Hillary Clinton, 68, has vowed to support if she’s elected. But Hillary’s advocacy for things Scarlett is passionate about isn’t the only thing that makes the actress want to vote for her!

“Hillary is the right candidate for right now,” Scarlett told Variety for their Power Of Women issue. “I think she’s got a lot of integrity. She’s got a lot of stamina. She’s a very clever politician, and that’s actually important to me. Maybe it’s because I have a daughter now.”
Scarlett joins a star-studded list of Hillary supporters, which includes Katy Perry, Chloe Moretz, Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, and even President Barack Obama. They’ve all expressed their support for Hillary for various reasons, but we wouldn’t doubt it that all of them completely agree with what Scarlett said about Hillary’s “integrity” and “stamina”!

While there may be plenty of celebs who are saying “I’m with Her” in this election, Scarlett has actually been a supporter since far before Hillary became the Democratic presidential candidate. She told Harper’s Bazaar in 2013 that she thinks Hillary would be a wonderful president because of the fact that she’s a mother. “I think we could only benefit from having someone in office who has been a mother,” she said, adding, “women have a different perspective and appreciation of humanity because of that maternal instinct.”
Considering the things that Hillary’s opponent Donald Trump has said about women — and the crude comments he was caught making on tape in 2005 — there are likely several women who are siding with Hillary. And now that Scarlett has voiced her opinion, we wouldn’t doubt it if Hillary gains even more supporters!
