Spring is officially in full swing, which means it’s time to put away those winter wardrobes and get ready for warmer weather. Whether skirts, dresses, shorts or jeans are your go-to spring look, wedges are the perfect shoe to pair wit any warm weather ensemble. Wedges are great for comfort, while still dressing up an outfit a bit. Plus, they can be worn for casual outings, or more formal functions, depending on what look they’re paired with. Stars like Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Markle and more have all shown off various ways to rock the spring trend!
Jennifer Lopez
If there’s anyone who’s going to be on top of a hot trend, it’s J. Lo! In addition to being a talented singer, dancer and actress, she’s also a total fashionista. Of course, we’ve seen Jen out and about in wedges before, including during a shopping trip in 2018. She looked stunning in her airy, lacy white dress, which was paired with wedged shoes for the outing. Heels don’t seem all that practical for a long day of shopping, but wedges are a go-to for style AND comfort!
Meghan Markle
Meghan had to make dozens of formal appearances during her time in the royal family, so she certainly knows how to dress practical AND stylish. During a visit to a university with Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan wore a flowing, colorful maxi dress. It was one of her more informal functions, and she appropriately paired the look with wedges. The entire ensemble was perfect for spring.

Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon showed off how wedges can be worn with a skirt when she stepped out in the look during a hot summer day. Reese wore a navy, high-waisted floral skirt with chunky wedges that had a denim fabric on the straps. The shoes went perfectly with her jean jacket, which completed the look.
