With a massive heatwave cranking the temperatures up towards the 90s and 100s, some of the biggest stars are keeping cool by shedding some extra inches of fabric. Who needs pants? Summer is the season of short shorts, and some celebs, like Mirand Lambert, are beating the heat by rocking some sizzling hot shorts. The country music star certainly turned heads when she and hubby Brendan McLoughlin took a trip around Lake Tahoe. She rocked a floral bikini top, but below the waist? You guessed it: jean shorts.
Don’t forget some throwback looks. We loved the way Taylor Swift styled her black denim Ksubi shorts when she was spotted leaving her TriBeCa apartment on July 18, 2018. The singer opted to try out the double denim trend by pairing the distressed shorts with a jean crop top by Madewell. She added white Golden Goose sneakers, a Christian Louboutin bag and round, reflective sunglasses to finish off her look. She was basically summer personified. While we were once denied another Taylor Swift Fourth of July party, at least we have our memories when she was the Queen of Summer.
Chanel West Coast also wore a super summery look on April 20. The rapper attended an event in Las Vegas wearing a yellow floral bralette with frayed denim shorts. She kept with the pastel theme by pairing the crop top and acid wash bottoms with a yellow cross body purse, along with wedge sandals and oversized sunglasses.
