Proud girlfriend alert! Simone Biles took to Instagram to rave over her man, Jonathan Owens, after he was signed to the Houston Texans' active roster on Dec. 12.
Simone Biles flooded her Instagram Story with messages of support for Jonathan Owens ahead of his big game with the Houston Texans on Dec. 13. Jonathan was promoted from the practice squad to the team’s active roster on Dec. 12, which meant he got to play in this week’s match against the Chicago Bears. “So proud of YOU,” Simone gushed. “Your time is now, can’t wait to keep cheering you on.”
She also added, “Go show ’em what you’re made of. I love you” and “LET’S GO BABY!” Unfortunately, the Texans suffered a pretty brutal loss, falling behind to the Bears 36-7. Still, Simone proudly watched the game on television, and shared a video of herself getting up close and personal with the screen to make sure she could see what was going on. “I have to stand up to see where my mans is,” Simone joked in the video caption.

Jonathan played on the Texans active roster during weeks five and six against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans, respectively. For the week five game, Simone was in a box on the field to cheer Jonathan on in person. She wore his jersey and gushed that she was his ‘biggest fan’ in her photo’s caption.
Since going social media official with their relationship in August, Simone and Jonathan have not been shy about flaunting their love. The gymnast is often posting photos with the NFL star on Instagram. She’s also been spending time with other wives and girlfriends on the Texans, and seems to have found herself a sweet group of friends amongst Jonathan’s teammates and their significant others.

Earlier this year, some fans questioned Jonathan’s love for Simone and called him out for not posting any pictures with her on his Instagram page. However, Simone clapped back to defend her man. “I’m with him EVERY DAY,” Simone insisted. “He doesn’t need to post me to show his love. I feel it and live it on a daily basis IN REAL LIFE!”
