Sinbad
Sinbad is a comedian who got his breakthrough by starring as Coach Walter Oaks in the ‘Cosby Show’ spin-off, ‘A Different World.’ He was on the show from 1988 until 1991, and starred alongside Lisa Bonet. He was well-received for his comedy, and wound up getting a number of special on HBO, where he performed stand-up and showed off his craft. In 1993, he starred in his own sitcom, ‘The Sinbad Show,’ but it was cancelled after one season. Sinbad is also known for a viral conspiracy theory that he starred as a genie in the early 90s movie, ‘Shazaam,’ which never actually existed.
Sinbad married his wife, Meredith Fuller, in 1985. They had two kids, but divorced in 1992. However, the two wound up getting back together and remarrying in 2002. In 2020, Sinbad suffered a stroke at the age of 64. Keep scrolling through the gallery to see more photos of Sinbad.

Sinbad takes the stage with his guitar to perform at the Starkey Foundation’s So The World May Hear Gala in 2013. The event was to support the foundation in its hearing missions and to help supply hearing aids to those in need.
