Stars Wearing Heels In Strange Places
Ahhhhh, the classic heel. Who doesn’t love a classic heel? In case you didn’t already know, we love love love a classic heel over here at Hollywood Life. And evidently, there are a number of Hollywood hotties out there who love love love the classic heel as well, and will wear them practically anywhere!
The high-heel came into popularity all the way back in the 15th century. Originally, high-heels were worn by Persian soldiers, in an effort to help secure their feet in stirrups. Persian migrants then brought the heel trend to Europe, where the trend obviously flourished! Male aristocrats wore them to appear taller and soon enough women had their turn with the fabulous fad.
Today, stars have been spotted attending a wide variety of events in anything from pumps and stilettos to wedge sandals and kitten heels. And while some of these events may be rather strange places to wear heels, we are still absolutely head over heels for these Hollywood stars’ looks!
