Lorenzo Lamas’ Fifth Wife Is His Daughter’s Surrogate
Lorenzo Lamas’ fifth wife, Shawna, is a true angel. The stepmom has decided to give Lorenzo’s daughter, Shayne, the best gift she could as for — a baby, according to Closer Weekly on newsstands now.
Let us break it down for you. Shayne was hospitalized on Feb. 10, 2014 while she was pregnant with a baby boy. Sadly, not only did she lose the baby, but she was told by doctors that she would never be able to carry another child. How awful.
Shayne had suffered a a rare uterine rupture and in order to keep her alive, the doctors had to preform a hysterectomy. So heartbreaking.
“When I found out I could never have kids again, I screamed at the top of my lungs,” Shayne revealed to Closer Weekly. “My world was over. It was the worst moment of my life.”
Shawna Steps In And Offers To Surrogate For Her Stepdaughter
Then a miracle happened. Shawna offered to selflessly surrogate for Shayne and her husband, Nik Richie. So amazing.
With the help of a fertility specialist, Shawna became pregnant with an embryo created by the couple. “Shawna’s not just my stepmother, she’s like a soul sister. She’s an angel that blessed my whole family, including my father,” Shayne told Closer Weekly.
Yes, she really is an angel.
Shawna is currently carrying her soon-to-be grandson and is expected to give birth July 10. Congratulations to the entire Lamas family on their new gift!
