Tenille Townes
Tenille Townes is a country music singer who hails from Alberta, Canada. She released her first Canadian single in 2009, which was followed up by an album in 2011, and a second album in 2013. In 2018, Tenille crossed over to the United States when she signed a record deal with Columbia Nashville. Her first single, “Somebody’s Daughter,” was critically acclaimed and reached number 26 on the U.S. Country charts. In Feb. 2020, Tenille released her first EP, followed by her debut, major-label, full album release, ‘The Lemonade Stand,’ on June 26, 2020. The record featured 12 songs in total, all of which were co-written by Tenille. She has toured with Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town. In 2019, she teamed up with Miranda, as well as fellow female artists, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Caylee Hammack and Elle King, on a cover of ‘Fooled Around & Fell in Love’ by Elvis Presley.
