‘Uncut Gems’ is a new crime thriller from the Safdie Brothers, who are best known for their 2017 film ‘Good Time.’ The film stars Adam Sandler, The Weeknd, Idina Menzel, Kevin Garnett, Lakeith Stanfield, Julia Fox, and Eric Bogosian. ‘Uncut Gems’ follows Howard Ratner, played by Adam Sandler, a jewelry store owner and dealer to the rich and famous, must find a way to pay his debts when his merchandise is taken from one of his top sellers and girlfriend. The movie had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and was also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. ‘Uncut Gems’ is set to be released in Dec. 2019 and is already racking up critical acclaim.
