The funny moment happened when Matt Lauer asked Ryan what super power he would love to have. “On demand, reenact any 80s music video in slow motion,” said the Deadpool star. Ryan then showed off his impressive voice, singing renditions of “These Dreams” by Heart and “Angel of the Morning” by Juice Newton, which he said was one of his favorite songs. We are thoroughly impressed!
Then came the truly awkward moment when Ryan was asked to pick a 90s hit. “What about Michael Jackson?” said Matt just throwing out a suggestion. Ryan then starts to sing, “Isn’t it Ironic?…Don’t you think?” After that, Matt smoothly transitioned the segment and the sexiest dad alive laughed saying, “Thank God!” Yes, Ryan has been married to Blake for three years already, but a lot of you might be forgetting that little fun fact that he was once engaged to Alanis for three years!
We don’t think Blake should be too mad at him for singing his ex’s song. After all, he was just named “Sexiest Dad Alive” by PEOPLE magazine! In his interview with Matt, he also mentioned how much he loves being a father to their daughter James. “I’m happy to do the dirty work,'” says Ryan. “So does [Blake], but I love getting up in the middle of the night. I’m fine with that!” Aww, what a great dad! Let him off easy this time Blake!
