Former First Lady Michelle Obama at the ‘When We All Vote’ rally, September 28, 2018
Former First Lady Michelle Obama feels so strongly about all Americans exercising their right to vote, that she has launched her second ‘When We All Vote’ campaign a year ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
‘When We All Vote’ is a national, nonpartisan organization dedicated to increasing the participation of every eligible American in every election. She is particularly focused on closing the race and age voting gaps. Unfortunately, younger Americans and Americans who are members of minority groups have a historically lower voting participation rate and Mrs. Obama, wants to change that.
To help, she has enlisted co-chairs Selena Gomez, Kerry Washington, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Tom and Rita Hanks, Janelle Monae, Chris Paul, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Megan Rapinoe, Tracee Lee Ross, Shonda Rhimes, and Liza Koshy. Here she is at a rally in Coral Gables on September 28, 2018.
