Another famous upset came when Johnny Depp did not receive an Academy Award – after three nods! He earned nominations from the Academy for his roles in Pirates of the Caribbean, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and Finding Neverland. However, he’s somehow yet to receive an award.
