Models Going Braless On The Runway
While bras can be incredibly expensive – and warrant their own fashion shows – the undergarment can also hinder an outfit. Many designers opt for their models to go braless on the runway, even if they’re wearing a sheer top. Or, especially if they’re wearing a sheer top. From see-through panels placed on the breasts of coats to lacy dresses that show tons of skin, there have been plenty of runway moments that freed the nipple.
Gigi Hadid modeled this trend for Lanvin’s Fall Winter 2019 show during Paris Fashion Week on Feb 27, 2019. She wore a sheer shirt without a bra underneath. She wore it with a blush coat, which is a smart move for anyone who wants to try going braless with a sheer top, but still have an easy way to cover up if need be.
