Rafael Nadal is one of the world’s most famous faces in Tennis. The Spaniard rose to fame in 2005 and swiftly hit the men’s top ten in the world. He’s been winning grand slams since 2005, with his first major win being the French Open. Rafael would go on to win that very tournament another 11 times and be dubbed by fans and pundits as the ‘king of the clay’ – a reference to the surface the players compete on. Rafael has also won the Australian Open in 2009, The Wimbledon Championships in 2008 and 2010, and the US Open in 2010, 2013, 2017 and 2019. He has also won two gold medals from the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
