The Rolling Stones have been one of the most influential bands in all of rock music. Started in 1962, the band have been a constant presence in the music world for nearly 60 years. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1964 with the original lineup, consisting of Mick Jagger (vocals), Keith Richards (guitar), Brian Jones (guitar), Bill Wyman (bass), and Charlie Watts (drums). Brian sadly passed away in 1969 at age 27. Charlie died in August 2021 at 80. The band’s current lineup includes Mick, Keith, and multi-instrumentalist Ronnie Wood.
The band’s songs are instantly recognizable, with a catalogue spanning decades. Some of their most well-known hits are “Gimme Shelter”, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, and “Sympathy For The Devil.” The band has released over 20 albums since making their debut, with their most recent being 2016’s Blue & Lonesome.
